15 Simple Steps To Losing Your Salvation
15 Simple Steps To Losing Your Salvation
Rick Schworer
Have you ever thought, "Am I really saved?" Maybe you remember the time you said a prayer and asked Jesus into your heart, but since then you have questioned whether you really got saved all all. Or could it be that you know you got saved,, but you fear that you could never live a life good enough to hold onto that gift.
This book on eternal security starts by dealing with salvation, and then proceeds to assurance while striking down the doctrine that Christians have to "earn" salvation
after
they've trusted Christ to save them. The final chapter examines the difficult passages that cast doubt upon eternal security. The goal of this book is you give you the assurance you need to serve the Lord with joy and confidence.
103 pages, softcover.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR...
Rick Schworer was saved at the age of six during a vacation Bible school in 1985, and for the most part grew up attending Treasure Valley Baptist Church. As a young man he spent time in various churches and ministries as his family served the Lord in Arizona, Georgia, and eventually the mission field of Papua New Guinea. On the mission field he was involved in translation work and was very active from preaching on the streets, high schools, and in churches. In the States he has also ministered in rescue missions, nursing homes, to bus kids, and is currently a faculty member of Treasure Valley Baptist Bible Institute. Rick graduated from TVBBI in 2003 with a Bachelor of Divinity degree and received his secular Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2007. Rick married his wife Melissa in 2003 and they live in Idaho and with their four children.
As a teenager Rick developed a love for the word of God while attending Bible Institute classes that his dad taught for several years in Georgia. He found early on in life the best way for him to learn and study was to write. For Rick, this developed into a love of writing, and as a young man on the mission field he would often write Bible studies for his father to read and review with him. Ever since then, he wanted to write a book, a door that God opened for him through Dr. Sam Gipp's work
